Courage vs. Mecha Courage is the second episode in season 3 of Courage the Cowardly Dog. In this segement Courage does battle against his mechanical counterpart.

Di Lung feels that Courage is not good enough a dog and builds a mechanical version that is better than Courage in many ways, taking his place in the house. Courage can't stand this and challenges Mecha Courage to a duel in a gladiator arena in Rome. Di Lung watches as Mecha Courage beats Courage badly for a long time. Just as he is about to finish Courage off, he stops working. His batteries have run out. Di Lung is dropped through a trapdoor by a Roman emperor.

  • This is the first time Eustace is nice to Courage. However, it is not the real Courage, but Eustace does not know this.
  • Courage dresses up in a gladiator armor suit, like in the film, to battle against the fake mech-Courage.
