Courage Meets Bigfoot

Courage Meets Bigfoot is the fifth Courage the Cowardly Dog episode where Bigfoot is terrorizing Nowhere, and Eustace teams up with an angry mob to capture him to win $25 and a lifetime membership.

Muriel's pies start to go missing and monstrous footprints can be found. The people of Nowhere believe that it is Bigfoot who is attacking the town. They promise a reward to whoever can capture Bigfoot. Amongst all this, an elderly woman comes to the door searching for her lost child. Bigfoot appears in the Bagge farm, and after Courage has a food-fight with him it becomes evident that Bigfoot is friendly. However, Eustace and an angry mob arrive to capture him so Eustace can get his reward. Courage tries to convince them that Bigfoot is friendly to no avail. The mob prepare to capture him, when the elderly woman arrives, telling them to unhand her son. The mob softens and turn on Eustace, who refuses to let him go. They chase him away, and Bigfoot and his mother go free.

- This is the second time Courage has made friends with the monster. The first time was in the Shadow of Courage.
- This is the main appearance of Bigfoot's mother. She appears in a few other episodes in brief cameos.
- This is the first appearance of the Nowhere newsman outside of the opening sequence.
- After finding proof of Bigfoot in Nowhere, the Newsman shows a clip of disasters that were apparently caused by Bigfoot. These disasters include the Nose coming off of the Sphinx, and the sinking of the Titanic.
