The County of Vasconia was a small medieval realm segregated c.830 from the Duchy of Vasconia in the lands around the Adur river in what is now known as the Northern Basque Country.
Sans Sacion fought against Charles the Bald, who didn't recognize his rights.
The county seems to have been re-incorporated to Gascony with Sans II but in 1020 part of it was subject of a treaty between Pamplona and Gascony that created the County of Labourd.
