County of Simcoe Paramedic Services

County of Simcoe Paramedic Services provides emergency medical services to Simcoe County, Ontario. County of Simcoe Health and Social Services is the department charged with administration of EMS services.
The county employes 180 full-time paramedics and 90 part-time paramedics. They are supported by 8 Supervisors. The service was created when the province of Ontario downloaded EMS service to the municipalities in 1997.
