Suffolk County Road 9, most commonly known as Cuba Hill Road, is a county road that runs through the town of Huntington, New York. The road runs northwest to southeast, beginning as Greenlawn Road and making it's way into the more busy part of the route, commonly known as Cuba Hill Road. It's starting point is East Main Street (NY 25A) in Greenlawn, and it ends across from Burr Road on Elwood Road (CR 10) in Elwood. The road sets aside houses from 1-355, then from 1-319, each providing a fair shelter for families.

A branch of a company called BAE Systems is located at the corner of Cuba Hill Road and Pulaski Road in Greenlawn.

James H. Boyd Intermediate School is situated on 286 Cuba Hill Road and educates children in grades 3, 4 and 5. The school features science and computer labs and offers many after school activities.

Finley Middle School caters for students in grades 6,7 and 8 and consists of around 280 students.

Many cars are seen parked on this road for a variety of parks. The three known parks are Greenlawn Memorial Park, Elwood Park, and the James H. Boyd Intermediate School playground. All of which are on Cuba Hill Road, each park provides space for children (and adults for some matter) to enjoy themselves and have fun.

Located on the south side of Pulaski Road, the east of Cuba Hill Road, and the west of Broadway, the memorial park, aside from the memorial, provides a skateboard park, a baseball field, a playground and a basketball court.

[edit] Boyd Fields & Playgrounds

James H. Boyd Intermediate School sets aside two playgrounds, a soccer/football field, a baseball field, and a basketball court for people to enjoy. During school, students play on the fields and playgrounds for about 20 minutes for recess. However, on warm sunny days, many people visit the park(s) either to enjoy themselves or to practice for games if they are on either of the 2-3 fields or the basketball court
