Dutchess County Route 74, known locally as Cedar Avenue, runs from Spackenkill Road (NY 113) in the town of Poughkeepsie to the border with the city of Poughkeepsie. It is primarily a local road, and features no or only a few junctions with other county or state routes, ending at Hooker Avenue (New York State Reference Route 983T). The road is about 0.8 miles long.
