County Route 42 is a 2.0-mile east/west county route in the southern part of Rockland County, New York. CR 42 runs through Nanuet and West Nyack. It has a intersection with the Palisades Interstate Parkway (Exit 7). CR 42 begins at CR 33 in Nanuet, and ends at CR 23 in West Nyack. CR 42 is known for running along the Clarkstown and Orangetown border for most of its route, hence the name Townline Rd.
