County Road 867A (Lee County, Florida)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

County Road 867A is the primary north-south arterial road for Cape Coral, Florida. It was formerly a state highway known as State Road 867A. The southern terminus of CR 867A is an intersection of College Parkway and McGregor Street (State Road 867) in Fort Myers. The former State Road then crosses the Caloosahatchee River (and the Okeechobee Waterway) by the toll Cape Coral Bridge. After a 0.7-mile-long section of East Cape Coral Parkway, CR 867A makes a turn, following Del Prado Boulevard northward until the terminus of the former SR 867A, an intersection with Pine Island Road (State Road 78).

From the southern terminus of CR 867A, College Parkway continues 2.5 miles eastward, to an intersection with Cleveland Avenue (U.S. Highway 41-State Road 45) in Fort Myers; Del Prado Boulevard extends five miles northward from Pine Island Road to an intersection with the Tamiami Trail (also US 41-SR 45) at the northern Cape Coral city limits. This northern section was formerly part of State Road 867A, but not part of the current County Road.
