County Road 512 (Indian River County, Florida)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
County Road 512 is a county highway in Indian River County, Florida, locally known as Sebastian Boulevard, and formerly known as State Road 512. The road is an 18-mile-long highway that cuts a zigzag swath across northeastern Indian River County, Florida. The southwestern terminus is an intersection with State Road 60 in Saint Johns Marsh, the headwaters of the Saint Johns River; the northeastern terminus is an intersection with U.S. Route 1 (State Road 5) in Sebastian.
The former State Road passes through a variety of surroundings. South and west of its namesake city, Fellsmere Road passes through sparsely-populated wetlands and woodlands. Within five miles of an interchange with Interstate 95 (State Road 9), CR 512 passes through a small city (Fellsmere) and between a residential development (Vero Lake Estates) and Saint Sebastian River Preserve State Park. The easternmost section (east of 90th Avenue – County Road 510) is entirely an urban access road within the Sebastian city limits. County Road 512 provides access to Sebastian Municipal Airport via Barber Street and Main Street.
