The County High School Leftwich is an average sized Media Arts co-educational comprehensive school that educates approximately 1000 children between 11 and 16 years of age. It is located in the town of Leftwich, near Northwich in Cheshire, England. Children come here from neighbouring towns such as Moulton, Davenham, Leftwich Kingsmead and Winsford.
There are three floors in the building, A, B and C. The rooms have names like A22, the floor, then the number of the room. There is a football pitch, and a larger field that can be used to play rugby. There are also some tennis courts, and the MUGA, which is an astroturf pitch. Next to the MUGA, is a big pond.
Inside the building, there is a gym, which has a rockwall in it. There is also a library, a canteen, a hall, and a media suite. The media suite is very new, and it used to be a drama studio, which was tatty, and really dark. Now, the media suite is cut into two areas, and is much lighter. People can do dance and drama in there.
The school also offers music lessons, and you can learn to play instruments such as flute, keyboard and cornet. There is a band, and they play at events like the Christmas fair. There is also a lot of sports practices, you can play football, rugby, netball and hockey.
