A Counter is a furniture for servicing customers consisting of a table that divides the area of internal an external space. Usually, the goods are put onto this table for counting and accouting as well as delivering goods.

Its height is depending of the style, e.g. a counter at a bar establishment (bar counters).

Counters are found in homes, and are very useful when it comes to putting things down. On a center counter in the kitchen, there is sometimes a stove. Counters in the kitchen also include drawers on the side for storing utensils.
