Coulter or Culter (both spellings in use, pronounced "Cooter" with no "l") is a small village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is not far from Biggar.

Nearby are two notable Scottish hills, Tinto and Coulter Fell. The River Clyde is also nearby.

The village has a mill which has since been converted to a restaurant.
