Could It Be That I'm In Love was the Irish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991, performed in English by Kim Jackson. Jackson had provided backing vocals for Somewhere In Europe the year before, and her entry was in fact written and composed by the performer of the previous year's entry as well, one of the rare occasions on which such a thing has happened in Contest history.
The song is a ballad, with Jackson confessing her feelings to her lover. She sings that she is unsure of exactly what her feelings mean, but wonders if they mean that she is in love with him.
The song was performed eleventh on the night (following Turkey's İzel Çeliköz, Reyhan Karaca & Can Uğurlür with İki Dakika and preceding Portugal's Dulce with Lusitana Paixão). At the close of voting, it had received 47 points, placing 10th in a field of 22.
It was succeeded as Irish representative at the 1992 Contest by Linda Martin with Why Me?.
