Cougar Mountain Software has been providing businesses with integrated accounting solutions for 25 years. Based in Boise, Idaho, the company celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2007. The company is privately held, and markets accounting software to small to mid-sized companies.
In 2007 the company celebrated their 25th anniversary. Founded by Bob Gossett back in 1982, the company’s first accounting product was introduced as a DOS application, and is still being used by businesses today. The company's first Windows product, CMS Professional, was introduced in 2000. In 2006, Cougar Mountain Software introduced Denali, which is based on Microsoft SQL Server technology.
