Couderc noir

Couderc noir was a red wine hybrid grape that is grown primarily in southwestern France and around the Gard département. The vine produces high yields and ripens lates, creating a wine that is deep colored with a distinct, earthy flavor. The grape is normally used for mass commerical and table wine. [1]
