Couch Fort Records

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Couch Fort Records is a Chicago based record label founded in 2002 that has released two electronic music compilations.

While working together at Vintage Vinyl in Evanston, Solypsis (James Miller) and Eft (Tim Breitberg) decided to embark upon the dubious adventure of releasing their own albums, records that would reflect their own eclectic tastes in music and grant them the opportunity to inflict their own music onto the masses (or at least a few hundred unsuspecting people).

Artists that have contributed tracks to the Couch Fort cause include: Mochipet, V/Vm, Eft, Terminal 11, Jansky Noise, Casino Versus Japan, Charles Atlas, Solypsis, Severed Heads, Electric Company and many other notable acts within the electronic music community.
