Coty Award

The Coty American Fashion Critics' Awards is the highest praise that can be awarded in clothing and is often referred to as the "Oscars" of the clothing world.

This award was given annually to top candidates in various clothing fashion fields by Coty, Inc. from 1943 until Donald Flannery of corporate parent Pfizer, Inc. discontinued the program in 1985. The program was developed by publicist Eleanor Lambert.
