This picture looks rather more like two tourist safari guides, dressed as 'sami' or reideer herder. probably people that took the picture also had a ride with a reindeer later on. What makes me say that? no people around Rovaniemi would dress themselves as 'sami' for any other reason.

Saami clothes. february 2004. Considered "tourist" clothes by some locals.

Possibly 20-30 km north of rovaniemi (which is on the polar circle in Finland). Don't know the name of the place exactly as I went there on a motorsnow. Must have took me 3 hours from the place where we lived :-) That day was the coldest I ever lived. And their nose was not frozen. I am still impressed.
