[edit] Gameplay

The player once again partners up with the same Tamagotchi characters from the first game and must try to make all shops royal. After all shops become royal, Princess Tamako is unlocked as a parnter, but the game will not be saved.

[edit] Characters

Many of the Tamagotchis from the first game return, while some don't. Many of the new ones are from Tamagotchi Connection V4, Tamagotchi School, and Uratama.

[edit] Ending

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

After all the shops become royal, the player is invited to a party at the castle where Princess Tamako refuses to marry Prince Tamaiko, saying that she wants to open her own shops, and she will marry him when she gets older.

[edit] Playing with Princess Tamako

The game is similar to when the player plays a saved file, only they cannot save data, and the only characters in this mode are the castle servants, Prince Tamaiko, the Gotchi Queen, and the unhatched Gotchi King.

Spoilers end here.

[edit] Differences

  • In the first game, before upgrading to the Metchi or Gotchi rank, the partner's father goes in disguise and shows up as a customer. When upgrading to Royal, Princess Tamako appears.
  • In the predecessor, the Gotchi Queen is referred to as "Princess Tamago".
  • If the player takes too long to serve the customer(s), the music speeds up.
