[edit] Cardinal Bafile's Coat of Arms

Hi there. I was looking at pictures of Coats of Arms, and I saw this picture of Cardinal Bafile's http://www.araldicavaticana.com/bafile_corrado.htm. It looks weird; the hat isn't suspended over the Archiepiscopal Cross, but it's hanging off one of the transepts. The shield is crooked, and the galero's fiocchi aren't even. Anyone know why it's weird like that?

I wondered if it was due to irregularities with his Cardinalate, but apparently there isn't anything unusual. He wasn't a Cardinal in Pectore or anything else out of the ordinary. So does anyone know why it's like that? J.J. Bustamante 00:32, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
