this sounds similar to the urethral sponge of the female.

i've noticed that rubbing the skin on the underside of the penis covering the corpus spongiosum is a very common masturbation technique.

because of this, i think this article needs to go into far deeper detail about the nerves of the corpus spongiosum.

if i understand correctly, part of the corpus spongiosum of the penis is internal.
