Corrib Park is a housing estate in the Westside suburb of Galway. Many famous association footballers have come from the area such as Tommy Keane (pronounced Kane), Marky Keane (see previous), Tommy Lally and Barry Conneely.[citation needed] Many famous comedians also hail from Corrib Park. It is a long list which includes, in no particular order, Eric Ryan, John O' Connor, Sean Ryan (perhaps Eric's uncle), John "Jacko" Martyn and so on.[citation needed]

The estate itself is surrounded by other estates , most notably Coogan Park.

The Corrib Rangers association football team plays in the local junior competition. Their "B" team is currently managed by Sean "Atkinson" Dooley.[citation needed]
