Corona is a town in Roberts County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 112 at the 2000 census.

Corona is located at 45°20′3″N, 96°45′52″W (45.334033, -96.764419)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.

Corona has been assigned the ZIP code 57227 and the FIPS place code 13940.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 112 people, 50 households, and 25 families residing in the town. The population density was 180.2/km² (458.7/mi²). There were 63 housing units at an average density of 101.4/km² (258.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 92.86% White, and 7.14% Native American.

There were 50 households out of which 30.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.0% were married couples living together, 4.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 50.0% were non-families. 48.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 3.44.

In the town the population was spread out with 29.5% under the age of 18, 4.5% from 18 to 24, 30.4% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 14.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 89.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.5 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $14,583, and the median income for a family was $28,125. Males had a median income of $21,875 versus $16,750 for females. The per capita income for the town was $10,540. There were 15.4% of families and 21.2% of the population living below the poverty line, including 22.7% of under eighteens and 22.2% of those over 64.
