Cornholme is a village, originally in Lancashire, but now right on the edge of the Calderdale district of West Yorkshire. It lies in the narrow Calder Valley about 4 km northwest of Todmorden.

It is home to Cornholme J, I and N (Junior, Infant and Nursery) School. One of the pupils there describes Cornholme as full of history and legend. Cornholme School itself, despite being over 100 years old, is still one of the youngest in the area!

An interesting fact, The Gem, whose name lives on the electrical goods store was once a cinema, in pre-television days. There are no cinemas in Cornholme anymore.
