[edit] History
The Cornell Institute for Public Affairs (CIPA) is a two-year graduate program leading to the Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree. The interdisciplinary nature of this M.P.A. program is one of its distinguishing features. CIPA students, or "fellows," have the flexibility to design individualized plans of study using faculty resources from across the university. More than 100 Cornell University faculty members representing 25+ units make up the field of public affairs.
Cornell University is located in Ithaca, New York, overlooking Cayuga Lake--the largest of upstate New York's Finger Lakes.
CIPA has approximately 150 students enrolled in its M.P.A. program. More information can be obtained by going to the program's website at: http://www.cipa.cornell.edu.
