Cornelius Edward Washington-Meeks (born Cornelius Edward Washington July 16, 1975) is the Vice President of The Chene Community Citizens Council, CDC. He has fathered one son, Cornelius E. Washington, II and is married to Latanya M. Washington-Meeks. Cornelius was born in Detroit, MI at St. Joseph Hospital which was located in Poletown, just south of Hamtramack, MI.

Cornelius attended and graduated from Dexter M. Ferry Elementary, Knudsen Jr. High and Cass Technical High School class of 1993. While at Cass, Cornelius studied Astronautics. As a child he had a unique fondness of flying and space travel.

After high school, Cornelius attended DeVry Institute of Technology and Columbus State Community College in Columbus, OH.
