Corinne Lévesque

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Corinne Lévesque (1944-2005) (nee Côté) was the second wife of the late Quebec Premier, René Lévesque.

Before they were married in 1978, Corinne was employed as René's secretary. Despite being the wife of a beloved political leader, she kept a low profile after their marriage; some believe because of embarrassment over marrying her employer. Corinne was diagnosed with throat cancer in the summer of 2005 and died on October 19, 2005 in Montreal.
