Corfu International Airport, "Ioannis Kapodistrias" (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Κέρκυρας, "Ιωάννης Καποδίστριας") or Ioannis Kapodistrias (Capodistrias) International Airport (IATA: CFU, ICAO: LGKR) is a small but busy airport on the Greek isle of Corfu at Kerkyra. Flights from European cities both scheduled and chartered arrive quite often, especially from April to October.

The Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport, named after John Capodistria distinguished Corfiot European diplomat and first Governor of Greece, is located around 3 kilometres south of Corfu Town just half a kilometre north of Pontikonisi. The approach and landing, in a northeasterly direction, affords the flying passengers a spectacular aerial view of Pontikonisi and Vlaheraina Monastery as well as the hills of Kanoni as the runway used for landing is actually a few hundred meters away from these spectacular landmarks. Nervous passengers prefer not to admire the pilot's skills, as the runway is built on a narrow artificial extension into the sea.

The airport offers domestic flights with Olympic Airlines (OA 600, 602 and 606) and Aegean Airlines (A3 402, 404 and 406), but the vast majority of traffic in the summer season is charter flights for holidaymakers.

The majority of the charter traffic arrives on Mondays, for the sake of tranquility during the rest of the week, since the airport is on the outskirts of Corfu Town itself. That traffic (determined by change-over days for villa lets) is now shared with Fridays.

The parking arrangements are inadequate, but despite the signs unofficial parking is well tolerated, provided that you must not obstruct the constant flow of coaches delivering and collecting package tourists immediately outside the terminal.

There is an efficiently managed taxi rank, and the normal fare to the north-easterly resorts is about 30 euros. There is also a bus stop to the right on leaving the airport, which will take you straight to the bus station, from which buses go to all parts of the island.
