Corey Brewer, (born March 5, 1986 in Portland, Tennessee) is the starting Small forward for the Florida Gators men's basketball team which won both the 2006 and 2007 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournaments[1], as well as the 2006 SEC Tournament. He was named Most Oustanding Player of the 2007 tournament[2].

Brewer's future in the NBA is bright (when he chooses to enter the NBA draft). He was projected by ESPN.com's Chad Ford to be a lottery pick to mid-first round pick in the 2006 NBA Draft if he had entered the draft that year.[3] However, Brewer, along with teammates Joakim Noah and Al Horford announced at the championship pep rally that they will indeed be returning for their junior seasons.[4]

Brewer is 6'9 and weighs 185 lbs. He is recognized as a versatile defender because of his length and athleticism. He has excellent ball-handling skills and attacks the hoop very well on offense. He recognizes his role as the member of a team and will be an asset for whomever and with whomever he plays.

Corey attended Portland High School in Portland, Tennessee, where he was named a McDonald's All American in his senior year. He averaged 29.4 points and 12.8 rebounds a game his final season.
