Cordelia Frost is a fictional mutant character in the Marvel Comics Universe.

[edit] Fictional character biography

Cordelia Frost is the younger sister of Emma Frost and Adrienne Frost, as well as being the youngest of the four Frost siblings. She was regarded by her parents as being the "lost" one in the family, and as such she rebelled by dressing in black, having sullen, sulky moods and being argumentative, although she was only a teenager.

She attempted to turn Mondo over to the Hellfire Club, hoping to gain for herself the position of White Queen, but Mondo was rescued by Generation X and ended up joining them.

However, Mondo later betrayed the team to Black Tom Cassidy, and was himself killed by Bastion who was there at the time to kidnap Jubilee. It was later revealed that the Mondo who betrayed Generation X was a clone created by Black Tom Cassidy, who liberated the original Mondo from the Hellfire Club. Black Tom raised the boy as his own, and then set about exacting revenge on Cordelia for turning Mondo over to the Hellfire Club. Cordelia fled to her elder sister Emma begging for help as Black Tom, Mondo, and the Juggernaut were after her. After a brief battle, the tide turned and the villains fled. During the confusion, Cordelia slipped away. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Emma and Christian Frost are they only family Cordelia still has. It is also not known if she knows Emma shot Adrienne.

It is unknown if Cordelia Frost lost or kept her mutant powers during the M-Day.

[edit] Powers and abilities

At first not much was known about Cordelia's powers other than the fact she and her sisters all have passive psionic powers and that she is immune to Emma's telepathy. This immunity is due to her sibling status, much like Cyclops and Havok. She was revealed later to be an empath.

She would often use this to her own advantage and soon discovered that she could implant emotional states into others' minds. This ability could make an enemy think they were blind, or think they were talking to someone else as opposed to Cordelia, in a form of illusion. She later received an enhancement of her power. Though she couldn't control it at first, Cordelia learned to use her osionic blast as an offensive weapon, to render opponents unconscious or to erase memories.

It has been stated in Generation X by Emma that Cordelia is the ‘Professor X’ of the empaths and may be the most powerful empath on the planet, easily able to overpower people with the same gift.

Other than other empaths she is able to communicate empathically also, while others are only able to sense and manipulate emotions.

She however has had no training in using her power and so her skills are only based on her own control/knowledge and not on outside help.
