Talk:Copa América 2004
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is one of the best I've seen so far about a specific edition of a sporting competition. Kudos to those involved. If I might be so bold, I'd like to suggest: the one thing that seems to be missing is more information about the off-field stuff. For instance, we could have something about Peru's bid to host this event; how much was spent by the government; if there were any troubles in connection with holding the tournament, either before it took place, or during the competition, or even after (you know, like members of the Legislative questioning the event's budget), it would be interesting to include it. And maybe some more stuff along these lines... Perhaps a Peruvian user, or someone with access to this kind of information could make this happen? Then the article would be perfect.
