Coppa delle Alpi

Coppa delle Alpi (translated as Cup of the Alps), was a football tournament, first organized by the Italian national league in 1960. The competition ran from 1960 until 1987.

• 1960-1961: competition between league selections.
• 1962-1966: competition between Italian and Swiss teams.
• 1967-1968: competition between German, Italian and Swiss teams.
• 1969-1971: competition between Italian and Swiss teams.
• 1972-1987: competition between French and Swiss teams.
• 1988-1994: The Memorial Pier Cesare Baretti, also known as Torneo di Saint Vincent, Val d'Aosta, was played. It is sometimes seen as a successor of the Cup of the Alps, though participation was no longer restricted to club teams from the relevant nations.
