Copenhagen Concert Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Copenhagen Concert Hall is a part of the relocated DR Byen (DR-Town), that will house all of the Danmarks Radio (DR) by 2008. The Concert Hall and the whole DR-Town are located in the northern part of Copenhagen new town development of Ørestad.

Jean Nouvel is the architect of the project. The structure can be likened to a horizontal lying pine cone covered by big blue screens that can be used to project visual content.

Expected time of completion of the project is 2008.
