Copa Libertadores 1960

In the first edition, teams from only seven countries participated: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The tournament began April 19th, and finished June 19th. In the final, Peñarol defeated the Olimpia and was proclaimed the first champion in the history of the tournament.
