Please note: this template is PURPOSEFULY INVISIBLE. This is to address problems with the technical restrictions mentioned in Wikipedia:List_of_controversial_issues. This template is meant to be used at the top of the article, so that it will be shown to potential editors without disrupting readers, but still provide a uniform message. Usage of this should be done in conjuction with {{controversial}} being placed on the Talk Page.
To use this template, it must be subst'd so that the text of it appears. Do this by using the following tag:
{{subst:Controversial-Article}}
This will place a HTML COMMENT, only visible to editors, reading:
- This is a controversial topic, which may be disputed.
- Please read this article's TALK PAGE discussion before making
- substantial changes.
