[edit] Using the constellation navigation templates

The constellation navigation templates are:

• Template:Navconstel - contains all current and former constellations, however the former constellations are initially hidden, and to be shown, the [show] button for constellation history must be clicked to show them.
• Template:Navconstel-historic - like above, but initially all modern constellations are hidden and only former constellations are show,
• Template:ConstellationList - contains all current constellations, nothing else!
• Template:ConstellationsFormer - contains a selection of former constellations that aren't used any more, and nothing else!

Navconstel and Navconstel-historic are show/hideable navigation boxes for astronomical star constellations. Navconstel and Navconstel-historic contain the same information, but hides different parts according to purpose – Navconstel is called by

{{Navconstel}}

and initially shows modern constellations while hiding all constellation history. Navconstel-historic, on the other hand, is called by

{{Navconstel-historic}}

while initially showing the list of obsolete constellations, while hiding the rest. In the more uncommon case that You really need compact templates, then use the good-oldies:

{{ConstellationList}}

or

{{ConstellationsFormer}}
