Please do not delete this page - I am working on expanding the dewcription and it is integral to several other pages I am adding for UK based retro magazines and shows - there is currently nothing on retro gaming and I am planning on expanding the whole section - Console Passion Retro Games is only a small part of it - I have already added fthree other pages. Plus this isn't 'advertising' it is only the same as having Electronic Botique or similar - which IS in wikipedia, and CPRG has lots of other information on the website which is of interest to Retro Enthusiats.

[edit] Update:

I didn't realise that I wasn't to remove speedy deleteion notice, these are the first pages I have added to Wiki. I personally do not think this is advertising - all my pages are 'bare bones' at the moment - I am in the process of adding the basics of 20+ pages, all of which are relevent and will contain information relevent to Retro Gaming - which at the moment is completely missing from Wiki in any shape or form. Also, there are several similar pages that have been allowed that are similar - the following magazines have pages Retro Survival, Retro Gamer and for retailers Electronics Boutique, Lik Sang and Rhino Video Games - most of which are stubs. I will hold adding any more content until such as decision is made, as I see no sense in adding lots of pages if they are just going to get deleted (in what I class as) unjustly.

[edit] Citing Sources

I have tried to cite my refernce to Alexa Traffic Rankings - if you can suggest a better way I'm open to suggestions. Would like to remove the proposed deletion notice but will await admin feedback..ConsolePassion 15:02, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Anyother way to show notibility could be a reviews in a related games magazine mentioning website. Or, if you can get links to the BBC reports that credit the site. As it stands, the alexa rankings appear non-notable. With 192,000, there are sites in the "also visit" section higher at 31,000 and even 431.
Also, do have any connection with the site? (As your username and web site have very similar names). The reason I ask is that that if it's your own site, it may be discouraged to you to create and edit it yourself, as per WP:AB Regards, MartinRe 15:56, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge articles

Rather than creating lots of smaller stub articles, I think it might be better to have the details as sections of one main article. That would reduce the problem of small stubs gettings nominated for deletion, as many topics that might not deserve a standalone article, might fit in well as a paragraph of a bigger article. Redirects can be used to point existing articles back to the main one, if required. If in the future, the article has grown enough to be worth splitting up, that can be done easily, but I worry that if "20+" stub like articles are created, many of them will be deleted as non notable, which would be a pity.
