Talk:Confidence (politics)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There was a redirection to "fair", but the "Fair" article contains nothing about confidence. I wanted to include an Interwiki link from German. I Think, there should be an article to "confidence" on its own. There are several things, including trust, confidence area, and other. The article should be completed or removed. Please help --Hutschi 12:43, 22 May 2004 (UTC)
- If this article isn't expanded (I've added the {{stub}} message) then it should be removed and its contents moved to Wiktionary:Confidence. --Lukobe 19:34, 5 Jul 2004 (UTC)

- Additionally, we should consider a disambiguation page. Confidence has meaning in economics and in statistics. A statistical confidence article is definitely in order. --Rev Prez 03:18, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Since Talk:Confidence re-directs here, I'll discuss the Confidence article here.
I don't believe that Uncle G should have changed the page the way he did. The last version by User:165.125.144.16 did contain good disambiguation information, but the Confidence page does not need to merely be a disambiguation page only. Most other Wikipedia articles about traits are not disambiguation pages. Most Wikipedia articles about traits describe them at length.
My first edit to the page did contain broken links, but that was no need to completely revert to a previous edit. The links could have simply been fixed, and my edit kept as it was. This is what I have done.
If Uncle G disagrees, we may discuss it here, and hopefully the conversation will be civil and calm.
[edit] move
The term use is not limited to political science, many politicians use it too. Therefore a more generic name might be more appropriate. C mon 10:24, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
