Convocation Center (Northern Illinois University)

Convocation Center is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in DeKalb, Illinois, USA. [1] The arena opened in 2002. It is home to the Northern Illinois University Huskies basketball team. Previously, the team played at the Chick Evans Field House. The venue also houses many other events including the opening convocation ceremony for freshmen, concerts, job fairs, and the annual graduation ceremony.
Major performers that have come to the Convocation Center in the past include Bill Cosby, Blue Man Group, Brooks and Dunn, Dave Chapelle, Sugarland, Goo Goo Dolls, 3 Doors Down, Chamillionaire, Rascal Flatts, Michelle Branch, John Mayer, Wayne Brady, O.A.R., Hoobastank, Ludacris, and others.
