From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Contraption was a game show and one of the original programs on Disney Channel, which began in April of 1983. The show was hosted by actor/comedian Ralph Harris and announced by Miranda Fredricks.
Two team of three children are introduced to the audience. After a few questions with the host the rules are explained. Short clips are viewed and the teams must answer questions about details from what they saw. Correct responses are awarded with a "contraptile," a translucent plastic square tile.
The final round consists of the two teams competing in a physical challenge maze. The team with the most contraptiles wins.
