Continental may refer to:The Definition of Continental

• The adjective of "continent," such as in continental Europe or continental climate, or Continental Glacier;

• Continental philosophy is a 20th century school of philosophy based mostly on texts by French and German philosophers, and especially Hegel, Nietzsche, Marx, Freud, Heidegger, and Foucault. Often used in contrast to the Anglo-American school of Analytic philosophy.

• The culture of the continental nation states of Europe, in as much as it contrasts with the culture of Anglo-Saxon England, including such terms as continental breakfast and continental lifestyle.

• Continental Airlines is a major international airline carrier.

• The Lincoln Continental, a car made by Lincoln division of the Ford Motor Company.
