The Constitution of Palestine was first adopted in 1968. After the creation of the Palestinian National Authority in 1994, The Basic Law For the Palestinian National Authority was adopted on July 7, 2002.[1][2] It's regarded as a provisional constitution until the completion of the actual constitution upon the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
