Constantinos Makrides is a Cypriot football (soccer) player. He plays in the attacking-midfield position for APOEL FC and competes for the club in the domestic league. He also competed with the same team in the past in European competition qualifications. He is 25 years old and has established himself as a regular pick since his move from Apollon Limassol FC in 2004. He is also a regular player for the Cyprus national football team with 24 caps to date. He played the full 90 minutes in all 4 games of Cyprus' Euro 2008 qualification campaign to date, including a 5-2 victory over Ireland and a 1-1 draw with Germany.[1]
