Constantin Daicoviciu

Constantin Daicoviciu (b. March 1, 1898, Căvăran, Caraş-Severin County – d. May 27, 1973), was a Romanian historian and archaeologist.

He was rector (president) of Babeş-Bolyai University, and a member of the Romanian Academy.

His son, Hadrian Daicoviciu (1932–1984) was also a historian.

Since his death in 1973, the town he was born in bears his name.
