Route 79 is a 14.34-mile state highway from Madison to Durham. It begins at U.S. Route 1 and goes through Madison, Killingworth and Durham. Route 79 is known locally as the Durham Road in Madison and as the Madison Road in Durham. Route 79 also has a rotary at the junction with Route 80 in Madison.
