Route 71 is a north-south state highway in Connecticut. The route begins at U.S. Route 5 in Wallingford and ends at Route 173 in West Hartford. It is the principal north-south road in the cities of Meriden and New Britain, and has interchanges with four freeway routes in the state along its 19 mile route.
