ConnectiCon is a three-day anime, gaming, and science fiction fan convention held in Hartford, Connecticut each summer. The convention began in 2003 on the campus of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut[2] and moved to its current venue in 2005.[3] The next ConnectiCon will be held July 13 through 15, 2007 at the Connecticut Convention Center.[4]
The con is run by Matt Daigle with a small army of volunteers and features events, screenings, and other activities. This con has a consistently good reputation with the webcomic community.[original research?] The main mascots of ConnectiCon are Brianna Bunny and D23.[citation needed]
In October 2006, ConnectiCon started holding "Member Appreciation Days" at it's corporate HQ.[citation needed]
