[edit] Plot Synopsis

The episode starts off with Bubbles explaining to his cats that he has been unable to look after them, because he has a very painful toothache. Ricky and Julian come over to his shed, hoping that he will help fertilize their weed crop, but Ricky ends up getting his nose broken when Bubbles tries to tie his tooth to the door and it strikes him in the face. After Julian tends to Ricky, he realizes that Bubbles' tooth could become infected and offers to take him to the hospital. Bubbles is terrified of hospitals and flatly refuses to go, unless something called "Conky" can come with him. Ricky gets very upset at the mention of the name, and the look on Julian's face tells us that this cannot be good.

The boys explain that Conky is a puppet that Bubbles constructed in grade six, who took over his mind and was very fond of insulting Ricky. After a year or so of all the verbal abuse, Ricky, when he was drunk, threw the puppet into the swamp to protect Bubbles. Ricky thinks this is a bad idea, but Julian insists that this is the only way to get him to come. Meanwhile, Randy and Lahey get frustrated at Bubbles' cats ruining the Sunnyvale Bake Sale, which he is using to go into the Community Fund. Most people, including Sarah, Lucy and Trinity, are extremely doubtful of what he plans to do with it, and Lahey gets very upset when a number of cats eat the chocolate eclairs. He hires Cory and Trevor to round up all of Bubbles' cats.

Julian and Ricky go to the swamp, trying to look for Conky. It is here that Ricky finds that the rag on his nose used to slow bleeding and a toy truck on his hand have been glued on and won't come off. After a short search, Ricky finds the doll and brings him back to Bubbles. Instantly, the doll appears to have taken Bubbles under his spell and begins insulting Ricky, who cannot stand his insults, while Julian tries to get them to the hospital. When they get there, Ricky starts to hallucinate from the glue's fumes, and Conky's insults do not help things any better, resulting in them getting kicked out of the hospital. As a last resort, they decide to turn to Sam Losco, a greaseball-bastard in Ricky's eyes, whom is a veterinarian and does not particulary like Ricky or Julian, for help. While Ricky and Julian go to scope out the area to avoid any bad starts with Sam, Conky sees Lahey's car and convinces Bubbles to go find out what he is up to.

Inside, Lahey and Randy are upset that it costs $97.00 per cat for a certain procedure not mentioned, but when Bubbles sees them with all his cats, he freaks out, thinking they are using the community fund to put down his cats. A fight breaks out in the office, with Bubbles coming out victorious, and Sam ends up shooting Randy, Lahey, and Ricky (who arrives in time with Julian) with tranquilizer darts. Randy and Lahey are knocked out immediately, Ricky is not knocked out, and the police are on their way after Ricky and Julian fire their guns. By this point, Conky has taken over Bubbles' mind completely and has started using the ultimate insult Ricky cannot stand: comparing him to Reveen. Sick and tired of the insults, Ricky decides to shoot the puppet's head off, but Julian talks him out of it by taking his gun away. Then, Conky starts singing about Julian's resemblance to Patrick Swayze, and Julian shoots his head off after hearing the comment, returning Bubbles to normal. The cops, lead by Officer George Green, arrive on the scene, and the boys and Sam tell them that Lahey started the whole incident, while drunk. Green buys their story, takes them away, and, bound by his word, Sam fixes Bubbles' tooth and removes the rag and truck from Ricky. They return to Sunnyvale with all of Bubbles' cats.

Later, they realize that Lahey was trying to have his cast neutered, not put to sleep, but they brush off what they might have done to him and Randy. A short scene that follows shows that both were put in the drunk tank for the night. Back at the swamp, a not-so-sad Ricky delights in re-burying Conky in his watery grave.
