Conflict Online is an Online Third Person Shooter that originally began in 2006 as a client-based MMORPG. It centered around medieval weaponry and the killing of monsters such as slimes. Today, though, it has evolved into a futuristic game that centers around person vs. person combat with plasma guns and grenades.

[edit] The Old Conflict
The exact release date of the original MMORPG version of Conflict Online is unknown, but the actual game has not been forgotten. Started in 2006, the original Conflict Online was a simplistic game with only two main goals: to mine as much gold as possible to make money, and to gain experience points by killing slimes. With the gold, you could purchase limited shop items, such as bronze armor, silver armor, and gold armor. You could also purchase several weapon upgrades.
Another feature in the old Conflict Online was the ability to dig up rocks and mine gold from them. This system ended in disaster, because many people dug up so many rocks, you could barely move around. Digging was than restricted to special areas known dirt patches.
