The Confederation of The Greens (Spanish: Confederación de Los Verdes; frequently simply Los Verdes, The Greens) is the Green party in Spain. A confederation of local political parties, it was founded in the 1980s when the German green activist Petra Kelly brought together 16 Spanish activists to sign the "Manifesto of Tenerife".
